It was a hot summer day. A fox was feeling very hungry. He came from the jungle towards the seashore and searched food here and there. He could find anything. He just saw a small crab. He caught the crab with some hesitation. This is a small crab it can't feel my stomach. But I am hungry I should kill it and eat.
Then the fox was about to kill the crab a hare ran that way from the near by bush. The fox became greedy. He thought, instead of eating this small crab let me eat the big hare. He let the crab go and went behind the hare. But, the hare had vanished into the bushes. The fox now felt sorry for letting the crab off.
Moral: A small amount things in hand is worth bigger amount in the distance.
